Client

The MCP participant created by a host to maintain one protocol connection with one MCP server.

An MCP client is a protocol participant created and managed by a host. Each client maintains a connection to one MCP server and handles lifecycle, version negotiation, capability negotiation, requests, responses, and notifications for that relationship.
